Signature Colors and Tigre's Show Ring Dress Code

When exhibiting the Tiger Horse under saddle, Tigre prefers riders to wear quiet colors. Solid colored breeches, or pants, and solid or quietly patterned vests over a crisp white shirt are preferred.

This uniform will help to identify us as Tiger Horse riders and will not detract from the beautiful white markings of the Tiger Horse. We want Judges to concentrate on the horse's way of going, and not be distracted or influenced by the "Bling" of a rider.

Black or brown boots/shoes are appropriate. Riders ankles should always be covered.  Cravats/scarves are optional and may be colorful but should not make a glaring statement.  Each farm chooses their own colors. For Tigre events, a riding helmet should be mandatory.

Karen Tillisch in Germany riding her gelding Shado. What a beautiful picture they cut. Karen is active on the show circuit and has trained Shado to do all kinds of entertaining tricks and rides him without a saddle or bridle.

Karen Shead in Oklahoma riding WindWalker (AKA Dillon) Dillon was one of the first three stallions to help bring back the Tiger. He is now a gelding and Karen enjoys trail riding and camping with friends.

Vanessa Evans from Australia,  riding Annandale's Love Story with such pizzaz.  Love Story lives in New Zealand with his owners Cassandra and John Boothe.

Tiger Horses are a colorful breed and they are also gaited.
When showing on a Tiger Horse, there should be as little as possible on the rider
to disturb the Judge's eye.
