WITH THE HORSE IN FRONT OF YOU ACCURATELY PENCIL IN ALL MARKINGS.

Inner ear color:_________  Outer ear color (back of ears):______________  White inside ear.   Eyes:  Is white showing one eye? both?  Draw face, neck, body, leg whorls (cowlicks) Draw all white facial markings. Spotted horses are impossible to accurately indicate. TIGRE uses cowlicks or whorls to identify horses. Each horse has a unique cowlick somewhere on its head, neck, body or legs. These are like fingerprints. No two horses are alike. The direction of the whorl is important clockwise or counter clockwise.  On the diagram below indicate with an arrow where whorls appear. Indicate clockwise or counter clockwise. Mane and tail are: sparse and short? full and long?     Measure the distance from crease in horses knee to hoof hairline.  Legs: Indicate all striping/spots.  BODY: If the horse is a roan, please indicate whether white ticking extends throughout head, neck and legs:_________ White ticking does NOT extend to head, neck or legs:______ Below check each box. The base coat color will usually be other than white in the Tiger Horse. The white markings are the Lp gene or leopard spotted coat patterning which has deposited on top of a horse's base coat color. If horse is totally white state color of underlying skin. Pink or black.  Draw in facial markings

IMPORTANT: Each horse has one or more cowlicks also known as "whorls." This is your horse's thumb print as no two horses are alike. Find at least 2 or 3 of these and accurately draw them in. Some are round, others elongated. Some are clockwise others anti-clockwise. Please indicate which.

(right) Adult horses. On one front leg measure from crease in horse's knee to hairline above hoof in inches.
Foalsunder 6 months measure from crease to the ground. This helps us know how tall a horse will be.
